CREOSOTE BUSH - Creosote is a strong scar treatment and dark spot corrector because it contains NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid). NDGA helps get rid of dark spots by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production. By reducing melanin production, NDGA can lighten hyperpigmentation and dark spots on the skin, resulting in a more even skin tone. Creosote is also gently antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. It has been used by Native Americans for thousands of years to treat over 60 ailments by applying it externally as a salve & internally as a tincture.
