Most moisturizers are built for people who can tolerate a long ingredient list. Fragrance, preservatives, emulsifiers, synthetic actives — each one a potential trigger for sensitive, reactive, or compromised skin.
Barely There has four ingredients. That's intentional.
Tallow is structurally identical to the lipids your skin produces naturally, which means sensitive skin doesn't have to work to tolerate it — it just absorbs. It replenishes the skin barrier from within rather than coating the surface, which is why it works for conditions like eczema and psoriasis where the barrier itself is compromised.
No fragrance. No essential oils. No synthetic anything. Just four ingredients your skin was built to recognize, in a whipped formula light enough for a baby and effective enough for the most stubborn dry skin conditions.

Most "clean" moisturizers still have 15+ ingredients — they just swap synthetic ones for natural-sounding ones. Barely There has four. Tallow, shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax. Nothing your skin has to sort through, filter out, or react to.
SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
We mean that literally — this is a favorite of mothers using it on newborns and infants. No fragrance, no essential oils, no preservatives, nothing synthetic. If it's gentle enough for a baby's skin, it's gentle enough for yours.

The closest thing in nature to your skin's own sebum. Structurally identical to the lipids your skin produces naturally — it strengthens the skin barrier from within.
JOJOBA OIL
Technically a liquid wax, not an oil — which is why it absorbs so well. Jojoba mimics your skin's own sebum almost exactly, balancing moisture production without clogging pores.
BEESWAX
Creates a breathable, protective seal over the skin that locks in moisture without suffocating. It's what gives Barely There its staying power.
SHEA BUTTER
Rich in vitamins A and E and deeply nourishing fatty acids. Shea softens and protects while adding an extra layer of barrier support.
